Current Information

Competition Regulations:

Our events are run under our own set of regulations. These regulations are approved by our governing body AASA (Australian Auto Sport Alliance).

We suggest that each crew or team that intend to compete in our events familiarise themselves with these regulations.

Competition Levels:

Each of our events are run in three classes of competition.

  • Pro: Navigational fully mapped with instructions. Competitors will need competent map & trial instruction reading skills.

  • Pro Am: A mix of route charted instructions & basic mapped instructions. Competitors will need basic map, roamer & trial instruction reading skills.

  • Pro Sport: Fully route charted with competition to suit all levels of skill.

Vehicles:

We welcome both modern and classic cars.

A special trophy for the highest-placed classic car.

We also accept Electric and Hybrid vehicles in our event. No other event like ours does.

Electronic Aids:

The use of GPS systems for all competitors is approved. We have tested Waze, which has offline maps capability – a potential advantage in some areas.

Licensing:

Continuing from our 2024 and 25 events, AASA has agreed that as these events are held on public roads under state road road rules, there is no requirement for a competition licence.

All drivers are be required to hold a valid Australian driver's license.

Your participation and enthusiasm are what make our events truly special. Let's make 2026 events another memorable experience filled with camaraderie, competition, and the joy of driving.
